Dr. Muhsin Michael Orsini, Vice President for Research and Evaluation for Prevention Strategies LLC, recently presented two research papers at the 31st Annual Conference of the American Evaluation Association (AEA) in Washington, DC. The conference brings together evaluators, evaluation scholars, students, and evaluation users from around the world to assemble, share, and learn from the successes of the international discipline and practice of evaluation.

The first paper titled Learning to enhance evaluation practices and program outcomes using a collaborative approach to plan, implement and report theory-driven evaluations described the planning and implementation of the evaluation of the InSideOut Initiative that seeks to inspire and catalyze communities to transform sports culture, sponsored by the NFL Foundation. The second paper titled  Learning to enhance evaluation practices and public health program outcomes by improving conclusion validity described results and recommendations of our evaluation of Let Me Run, a running program for boys.
