Melodie is an adjunct faculty member at the Institute to Promote Athlete Health & Wellness at the University of North Carolina Greensboro. She has been conducting alcohol and other drug prevention research and evaluation for the past 17 years. She completed post-doc training in statistical methods at the Prevention Research Center at Arizona State University. She has worked with Dr. Wyrick to co-develop the College Alc and myPlaybook behavioral interventions for college students and college student-athletes. She has over 20 peer reviewed publications and co-edited a book on college alcohol use. Mel enjoys taking family trips with her husband Chris, sons Zachary and Jacob and daughter Mia.
